Park Location:
793 Storyland Road
(just outside Renfrew, west of Ottawa on Hwy. 17)
Storyland is located in the historical and beautiful Ottawa Valley, 40 km northwest of the rural border of Canada's Capital City, Ottawa, and 8 km north of the town of Renfrew, Ontario.
From Downtown Ottawa: Storyland is approximately a 1 hour drive (45 minutes from ScotiaBank Place). Follow Highway 417 west to Arnprior. Continue west on Highway 17 for 35 km to Storyland Road (Renfrew County Road 4) and turn right. Watch for the bend in the road and Storyland will be on the left.
Scenic Route from Ottawa: For a more interesting drive from Ottawa, exit Highway 417 at County Road 29 (exit # 180) and turn right. At the end of the road turn left on Renfrew County Road 1 towards Arnprior. Follow County Road 1 (River Road) until the end of the road and turn right on Storyland Road (Renfrew County Road 4). Storyland will be on the left.
The scenic route will add 10 - 15 minutes to your trip, but has fantastic views of the Ottawa River, takes you through the towns of Arnprior and Braeside, and avoids the traffic along Highway 17.
From West Quebec: Follow Highway 148 west to Shawville. Turn left onto Highway 303 and follow to Portage-du-Fort. Turn left on Highway 301, which becomes Renfrew County Road 653. Turn left on Storyland Road (Renfrew County Road 4) and watch for Storyland (and the big white bunny) on the right side of the road.
From Pembroke: Follow Highway 17 east through Cobden. Turn left on Renfrew County Road 653 towards Quebec. Turn right on Storyland Road (Renfrew County Road 4) and watch for Storyland (and the big white bunny) on the right side of the road.
